If you had told me back in January—or at any point in my life, really—that a Judas Priest album would be on my best of list in 2018, there is a ZERO PERCENT chance that I would’ve believed you. But here we are.
This album legitimately rips (no offense intended for former JP vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens), and even though Rob Halford can’t really hit as many high notes as he used to, this still has that classic 1980s Priest sound that we all know and love. IMHO, it’s the coolest thing they’ve done since 1990’s Painkiller and is therefore well worth your time.
