Ciaran Lavery is an Irish singer-songwriter. ‘Sweet Decay’ is an album that he released back in the spring. It was okay I guess, but not really my cup of tea.
Fortunately, ol’ Ciaran realized that the road to my heart was paved with mopey acoustic music, and he decided to strip out all the unnecessary instrumentation and rerecord the whole thing again with just a guitar and piano. Now, it sounds more like a Damien Rice record and that makes me v happy.
